Website Content and Analytics Manager

Requirements Include:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with content management systems (WordPress and VBulletin)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Experience configuring and managing Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Experience placing advertising channels on pages such as Adsense or DoubleClickSmallBusiness
  • Familiarity with creating new templates specific to post type, page and category
  • 2+ years of theming, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with creating new templates specific to post type, page and category
  • Familiarity with Akismet and spam prevention techniques
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with VBSEO
  • Familiarity with Vbulletin template conditionals
  • Some understanding of Javascript, PHP

Key Job Responsibilities:

– WordPress

  • Install, setup, upgrading
  • Modification and creation of plugin functions
  • Setup widgets and modify as needed to fit sites theme
  • Configuration of SEO and Sitemap tools
  • Implement wordpress conditional tags within templates
  • Manage performance tools such as W3TC
  • Troubleshoot issues from the writers and blog admins
  • Modify themes files (HTML, CSS)

– VBulletin

  • Install, setup, applying patches
  • Some knowledge of Mysql and database setup
  • Understanding of .htaccess
  • Familiar with adding and modifying plugins and products
  • Create and modify user groups, forums, and permissions
  • Create new CMS layouts
  • Familiar with spam prevention techniques and related plugins

– Google Analytics & Webmaster tools

  • Experience installing and troubleshooting Google Analytics and Webmaster tools
  • Experience setting up advertising tags on sites
