Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,

Unless there is a school holiday, spelling tests are EVERY Friday and make up a large part of students' writing grades. Fortunately, Spelling City makes learning word lists fun and easy! I encourage students to take practice tests, complete crossword puzzles, and play Spelling City games that allow them to practice recognizing spelling conventions and increase their vocabulary. Parents, if you or your student have any questions about how to navigate Spelling City, feel free to email me at smurakami@eesd.org. Otherwise, students, work hard and have fun watching your spelling abilities and vocabulary improve! :)
