Parents,

4th and 5th graders have mandatory spelling homework in my class EVERY week 4 times per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and one day of the weekend. On Thursday, I require a practice spelling test; over the weekend I require them to make notecards for their vocabulary words (5 words for 4th grade; 10 words for 5th grade). But the other 2 days they can choose the type of spelling homework that works best for them. They can practice with VocabularySpellingCity using some of the activities I've provided here, or they can write each spelling word three times each if they prefer that. All I care about is that they are learning the words; the specific method is not important. :)
