Each Friday you will receive a new spelling list. Your job is to observe the list - try to find patterns! What is the same? What is different? On the following Monday, I will let you sort the words, make more observations, and teach the rule/pattern. Sort your words throughout the week! Your spelling tests are on Friday's! I will only ask you to spell 10 of your spelling words, so be sure you know how to spell ALL words! Sometimes you will have bonus words. You will also have a wacky sentence, which reviews some previous spelling patterns learned.
