Students and Parents,
Our Year Three class is trying a new spelling programme for homework.

It is called "SpellingCity" and will be a change from our "Words to Learn" booklets. Some children may be familiar with the programme as I believe Mr Roach used it last year.

We will work on one list a week starting next week at List 13. (We are using Unit 12 this week to learn the programme and iron out any bugs.)

The words all come form the Soundwaves books the children are using at school. There are new assignments for you to complete each week. Make sure you get these done. Spelling home work days are Tuesday and Thursday, but this is a minimum. Hopefully you can do about 10 minutes every night of the school week. The word games will help to ensure that you remember the correct spelling for your list words.

Every Friday is Spelling test day so make sure you have done all your homework.
