WELCOME to Spelling City! This fun sight will allow you to develop your spelling and vocabulary skills at your own level and pace!!

We will do the first few lessons together in class, but after a few weeks you will be able to work independently on your assignments. You can work at your own pace at home or when you have time in class.

Each lesson includes instructions about the spelling patterns for that week - it will be important that you not only know how to spell the words but also understand the pattern rule. I will being discussing these rules with your group each week, as well.

You will be given a daily grade for your weekly assignments and a test grade on the review tests which I will give in class after every four lessons. In the review test - you will need to be able to tell me about the spelling patterns you have learned in order to move on to the next set of assignments.
