Dear Students and Parents, the spelling lists are organized by type of word and level of difficulty.
All SIGHT WORDS are in the "Sitton" lists. "Sitton 1" is the easiest with words such as the, and, to. "Sitton 80" is the hardest with words such as talk, fine, whether.
The other list are from WORDS THEIR WAY and are organized by difficulty.
"LNA" is the easiest, it stands for "Letter Name", these are mostly grade K and 1 words. "LNA 27 is the easiest with words such as pat, hit, dot. "LNA 50" is the hardest with words such as wasn't, I'll, he's.
"WW" is next, it stands for "Within Word", these are mostly grade 1 and 2 words. "WW 7" is the easiest with words such as name, snap, fast. "WW 50" is the hardest with words such as loan, grown, groan.
