Dear D2 Students and Parents,

Welcome to Spelling City!

Remember it's a good idea to take a pretest before you take your spelling test. To take a pretest, just go to the spelling list, scroll to the bottom, and click on the spelling test button. You will have the option of a pretest or spelling test. When you are ready to take your spelling test, go to the assignment box and click "spelling test". The only score I will see will be your spelling test score. Completing the practice activities in between the pretest and test will help you use the week's words, therefore, helping you to remember the words better.

Parents: A helpful tip from one of our parents was to give your child the spelling test on a piece of paper. Then, allow your child to type the words into Spelling City the way they were written. Remember, whoever does the work gets smarter.
