The children have mastered writing sentences and alphabetizing. I noticed when they were writing their words 5 times each, they weren't always spelled correctly so that became meaningless and just busy work. This semester I am giving different homework in order to keep them engaged and hopefully studying their words in a "funner" way. Any drawings they create are not meant to be perfect. I demonstrate how to do each activity I assign, and they KNOW my creations are not perfect. The whole goal is to get them to study their words!
