Students and Parents,

I know that you have used this resource before but there are a couple of changes. I will be putting new spelling lists on each week. They follow a set spelling pattern and there are 8 spellings. In addition there will be 2 spellings that all Year 5 children in the country are expected to learn. There will be a spelling test on a Wednesday so children should practice their spellings across the week.

In addition, the spellings are split into medium, spicy and extra hot. The children can choose the level they feel comfortable with and change from week to week if they so wish. Hopefully this level of self-differentation will encourage the children to work towards a higher level.
