Dear Fifth Graders,

Spelling City is a SUPER way for you to LEARN! You can practice and test yourself on the spelling and vocabulary words for each story in our anthology whenever you want! You will find the first story listed as 1.1 as it is the first story in the first unit. Sometimes you will see a slight difference between the word given in class and on the list. That is because this site sometimes will only recognize root words.

ON DAY 1 you will need to complete a practice test for the regular list. If you got ten or more words wrong, those words will be your list.
If you still need more words, go in this order:
- vocabulary list
- challenge list
- super challenge list
- frequently misspelled words list.
Write your list in your homework book. Make sure you spelled them correctly!!

I also may give you assignments for practice of the regular words or the vocabulary words. After you get your list completed, do those.
