Test Results Overview

Test Results is the place where teachers and parents who are Premium Members can view their students' Spelling and Vocabulary Test scores.

The Show Viewing Options link allows you to select the students, lists and types of test(s) you wish to view, the format used to display test scores, as well as how your Test Results are organized.

Viewing Options

The printer icon in the Help box allows you to select test reports to be printed. The gear icon in the Help box allows you to enable or disable the Practice Test feature and the gear icons located next to each list name allow you to copy grades to paste into your gradebook, print test reports, or allow a retest for the entire group.

Common FAQs - Test Results

Why can't I see my all of my students' scores?

Either your students have not yet taken the test, were not logged in when they took the test, or you do not have all of your students selected to be displayed in Test Results. If the latter is the case, you can use the Show Viewing Options link to select more students.

Can I print my whole class's grades for just one test?

Yes! Click the black Settings icon at the top of the list you wish to print results for. Then select which test grades you would like to print out for that list. PDFs of the test reports will open in a new window and may be printed as a batch.

If you wish to print a test report for a single student, click on that student's grade in the Gradebook and select "View Test Results".

What is the difference between a Practice Test and a Spelling Test?

Students may take a Practice Test as many times as they wish. Scores (as well as any words missed) will appear on the Student Activity page, which may be accessed by clicking on any student's username within the Students section of the site. A Spelling Test may be taken only once*. These scores will be recorded under Test Results.

*You may disable this feature by clicking on the gear icon in the Help box at the top of the Test Results page and unchecking the box next to "Enable Practice Test." This will allow students to take Spelling Tests multiple times, with the most recent results appearing under Test Resultsand results for previous attempts recorded on each student's Student Activity page.

Can a student retake a SpellingTest?

Yes! You can allow a retake for the entire class by clicking the black gear icon at the top of the column for that particular list under Test Results, then selecting "Allow retest". To allow a retest for an individual student, click the student's Spelling Test score and select "Allow retest." Please note that when a retest is allowed, the original Spelling Test grade will be renamed as a Practice Test and the score will appear on the student's Student Activity page.
