Dear Students & Parents,

Listed below are the spelling lists for this year's Third Grade class. If you are on an Individual Enrichment Plan and see Mrs. Olivieri for spelling, your word lists will be different than the ones posted here.

For students: You should always double check your homework packet to ensure you are studying the correct list. Spelling lists correspond with the story of the week in our Trophies texts. Spelling lists are labeled by story titles. You'll also notice each list follows a pattern (ex: compound words)and that will be the decoding skill we'll be working on that week. Please note, typically the first fifteen words follow the pattern and the last five are considered challenge words and do not follow the pattern. You will always be tested on all twenty words.
