However, the main reason I joined is so I could easily differentiate for my class, allowing them to work forward at their own pace each week. You currently have a view where I can see my class list on the left, and the spelling units at the top. I can only see about 5 spelling units at a time, however, but I currently have students working anywhere from unit 15 to unit 35. At this point, the hardest part is that I need to click on EACH STUDENT individually in order to see what they did for the current week.

Is there a way to view my class list with the work they did for the past seven days? That way, I could scan down one page each Thursday night, see who took a spelling test and who should take one on Friday, what unit test to give to each student, etc.? That would be much more efficient then checking each of my 24 students individually. I know I could go in and create homework assignments and then view the homework, but due to the huge span across the units, that would also take a lot of work to input.

Can you help direct me to the page view that I need, or is it possible to create this? With such a focus on differentiation as a major benefit of spelling city, it would seem that this would be a priority.

A grade is given to writing practice work, but I can't see the grade in the gradebook. Am I doing something wrong? If not, can this be added to the gradebook? By entering this information does the program send them a record of the student's efforts for each assignment once it has reached its completion date? If not, I would think this would be a very good enhancement to the program as it would enable parents to be informed about their child's progress.

I would see this working just like the current "create a list" option works. I could create new review lists and name them and then select toggles for existing lists in my profile. I presume some may even like to have the option to toggle specific words within those lists, but I don't think I would need that level of detail.

One customization I would like to see for the list is to randomly generate all the words, or a designated number of randomly selected words from each list. Personally I think all the words would be too many so being able to designate something like 3 random words from each list would be more ideal.

So when the student pulls up Spelling City activities (games, writing assignments, etc) for a review section, a random short list would be generated each time.
