Our Gradebook consists of five different tabs for individualized student recordkeeping.

The Gradebook tab is where you can view students' spelling and vocabulary test scores. The show/hide viewing options link allows you to select the students, lists and types of test(s) you wish to view. You may also choose to have test scores displayed in numerical format or as a percentage.

Assignments allows you to view your students' progress on assignments.

Student Activity is where you can view each student's individual records, including the number of activities they've done and their last login. If you would like to focus on an individual student, click on the student's username to view detailed records of his/her activity on the site.

Writing Practice shows the number of writing practice activities each student has completed, as well as their score and comments from their teacher. As with the Student Activity report, you can click on each student's name to view his/her detailed records.

Students is where you manage your students' accounts. This is where you go to add, delete, group, or edit your students.

Customize allows you to customize the instructions for Sentence and Paragraph Writing Practice, as well as the message that appears on your VocabularySpellingCity homepage.

The Printing & Downloading Options drop-down menu on each tab allows you to select reports to be printed.

Common FAQs - Gradebook

Why can't I see my all of my students' scores? Either your students have not yet taken the test, were not logged in when they took the test, or you do not have all of your students selected to be displayed on your Gradebook tab. If the latter is the case, you can use the Show viewing options link to select more students.

What does "Copy" mean at the top of each list column on the Gradebook tab? "Copy" allows you to copy and paste the grades from VocabularySpellingCity's Gradebook to any other electronic gradebook you might be using.
