I would be interested in trying to use Spelling City on the Smartboard. Our school is currently using them and I am taking a week long class in August to prepare materials using a smartboard for the school year. Also, we are looking into buying a set of the hand helds for the school year.

My district uses Activboards. Every classroom in the district has one. I would love to be able to give my spelling test using SpellingCity and the Activboard. Thank you.

I am getting a Smartboard this year and could get excited about any activities developed by SpellingCity using this technology. A side note: I can read the words in the red boxes on the post a reply page--red is too dark and print is too black.

I just discovered your website this morning and it is fabulous!! My school also recently started using Smartboards. We have a board and projector for each grade level, but we don't have a large supply of handheld devices yet, so I don't know about using them to give tests, but I would definitely like to use SpellingCity on our board for other things!!!

I just found out about this site, and was planning on using it on my SmartBoard. It would be wonderful to have it work with it better!

This is the third year that I will be using an Activboard in my classroom. My students easily become comfortable with the user-friendliness of the Promethean technology, and love using their Activotes to key in their answer choices (multiple choice). I know that some Activboard users now have Activexpressions, which allow for texting in actual spellings of the word in this case. I have created a few quizzes for my Activboard by using the Promethean resources and the Activote options, but would be interested to see what Spelling City comes up with to make this even more engaging. Contact Promethean about becoming a Promethean Partner, and you will be featured on the Promethean Planet page with more exposure for this great site and more possibilities for merging with the Activboard. Looking forward to the updates on this!
