An unusually large word list 2008/02/04 06:55
Just wanted to say thank you for a great site. Our daughter started using the spellingcity.com site a few weeks ago and the improvements have been tremendous.

This week, she had the longest list that she's ever had to study, 36 words in all! I put all of the words into the site and what do you know... each word was available both as a sound and with a sentence.

She really loves the sentences as they help her recognize words that are harder to spell or understand.

She's using the site daily to get ready for her test.

Thanks for making this site!

I was also surprised to see how many words you can put in for the kids to study. My daughter has a spelling bee next week and I was sure I cuold find something on the internet to help her study. What a pleasant surprise! I will tell everyone I know--except her competition of course!

Using SpellingCity for Spelling Bee preparation is an easy alternative to handwriting loads of lists out of the dictionary. You can start any number of lists and keep adding as your child's word lists grow.

They can be stored and printed out for review for future years. For kids who are not natural auditory spellers, having lists and spelling games to work with will give them a visual hand in mastering the words for a Spelling Bee.

Anyone else have ways they use Spelling City to prepare for Spelling Bees?
