A message to my students and parents
Use the strategies you have been taught to learn how to spell new words. Spelling is a visual skill, therefore, you should;
1. Look at the word and each letter (it's like your brain takes a picture of the word)
2. Say the word.
3. Cover the word.
4. Spell the word
5. Check to see if you spelled it correctly.(If not, repeat the steps).
