Dossantoskiri,
Thanks for your input and I'd like to add my perspective on this.
1. The port of VocbularySpellingCity to the Ipad cost us over 6 figures (over $100,000) and we are giving it away for free. Why did we do it? We are a small company who really has to worry about money. The reason is that many of our large paying premium customers told us that to renew their membership this school year, 2012-13, they needed to have a version on the Ipad. So we did it.
2. I have been trying to build a similar business case to port onto the Android. Frankly, it will cost us less but I need to find some significant Premium customers who care.
3. Please help, as we say on our page about the App
www.spellingcity.com/app ,
Do you use an Android device? Would you be interested in a VocabularySpellingCity Android app? If so, we'd love to hear from you! Please contact us -
www.spellingcity.com/Contact-Us/SpellingCity.com.html - with the following information:
Your name and email address
Free or Premium Member?
Teacher or Parent? (If teacher, what school?)
Why an Android app would be preferable to using VocabularySpellingCity through the browser.
thanks, I'm really eager to do this but I haven't had much luck defining the market yet. Could you help?
