Any updates on the Spanish feature? I've been using Spellingcity to help my students for the past two years. This year I am teaching the Spanish component of a first grade dual language program and would love to use this wonderful site with my new class.

I have tried this spanish option and you are correct the computerized reading is not ideal, but it does work. I look forward to seeing spanish here soon as I see it is a very desired addition. Thanks

I am a bilingual teacher in Illinois. We also, throughout the entire school district, have need for Spanish Lists. Is anything in the works for including high-frequency Spanish lists?

At this time, there are no plans to add Spanish word lists to VocabularySpellingCity, but I will share your suggestion with our development team.

Did you know that you have the option to add a definition and sentence for any word not currently in our database when your list is entered and saved through List Management? Please note that special characters are not recognized by our system, however, so accents will have to be left out of Spanish words.

Agreed. I teach 2nd grade in a Two Way Immersion program and would love to be able to use this website in Spanish. The computer generated voice, however, cannot pronounce our vocabulary words correctly. Also that fact that you cannot add special characters makes it impossible to add Spanish lists with words that have ñ. It would be fantastic if teachers could manually input our own voice reading the words and sentences (such as using voice recordings on Quicktime).
