I am starting to homeschool my son who is in 3rd grade and i am trying to find words for his grade level but cant anywhere does anyone have any idea where i can find it. thank you in advance

You can try some of the lists in the Resources tab at the top of this page. You can try suggested lists at sites like Time4Learning. (Click on the grade levels in the right sidebar). You can also do an Internet search for "third grade spelling words" or "third grade spelling lists" and find many that way.

If you use the resources on this site, you might want to start with the Dolch words. Also look at the literature lists. It's fun to read a book and then have spelling words that go along with the book. Most of the literature word lists include a suggested grade level. Don't be afraid to use second or fourth grade lists, depending on your child's ability. :)

I am using a Spectrum Spelling workbook along with this site. They have a years worth of lessons in them.

go to your google and type in words to know in 3nd grade cuz my son is also in home school too?
then you can go to www.booksamillion.com to find workbooks and text book for all ages and grade levels also/

If you search my name Debra Harrison, I have entered all the grade 3 words for the Storytown series. I have a modified list and the challenge words also. Maybe this will be useful to you.
