VocabularySpellingCity's writing activities, like Paragraph Writing Practice, gets kids writing! This is excellent practice for standardized writing tests! Paragraph Writing Practice
Instructions: To begin this paragraph writing activity, read the instructions provided by your parent or teacher, then
click in the box.
You will have an opportunity to
review your paragraph before you submit your work. If your teacher or parent is a Premium Member, you have the option to have your paragraph read aloud to you by clicking on one of the speaker emoticons! Premium Membership also allows you to save your work and resume writing at a later time by clicking Resume Writing Practice in the toolbox at the top of the screen. Once you
click the Submit button, you may create a PDF of your paragraph to print out for your teacher or save and
keep for your records. For students of
Premium Members, clicking Submit will submit the writing practice
activity electronically to their teacher or parent for review
and grading.
Spelling and vocabulary words make for excellent essay writing
practice. Premium Member teachers can create paragraph writing
prompts and include them in their Assignments instructions for
their students! Paragraph
Writing Practice
is a great way for students to practice writing a topic
sentence and a concluding sentence of a paragraph, to help
develop their writing skills for standardized tests.
