MatchIt Sentences is VocabularySpellingCity's fun word match game that guides students to match sentences with the word that best completes them. The object of MatchIt Sentences is to match the word that accurately fills in the blank of a corresponding sentence. MatchIt Sentences is excellent for building vocabulary skills. It also builds logic and reasoning skills by requiring students to find the best overall solution by using a process of elimination. MatchIt Sentences is available as an online activity or as a printable worksheet.
MatchIt Sentences Instructions: To play, click on the dots to match the sentences on the right with the words on the left that best complete them. When you are finished, click the Submit button. For longer lists, click the Next button to view the next set of words and sentences. When you have completed the game, click the Finish button.
MatchIt Sentences Printable Instructions: To create a matching sentences printable worksheet, simply select a list, then click the printer icon next to MatchIt Sentences on the Games page, or click the printer icon above next to the selected list.
