Welcome to my SpellingCity page.
This website is a great tool for students to use for their spelling words.
The students should look at the list of words I gave them on Monday. On that list should be a code (ex. F, List 1). Look for that on the list below, and those are the words for the week.
Each List has about 4 different lists. These are consecutive, so if they are on F, List 1 this week, they will be on F, List 2 the following.
Since this is a free membership, I only have access to a number of games, but there are still some games that the students like. If they like, they can even take a Spelling Test on here. This is how they are tested on Fridays. Many students like to take the test at home on Thursday evenings, just to get a good grasp of how they will perform on Friday. A suggestion I have is to take the test on Monday to see which words they need to practice more throughout the week. Please explore the site and take advantage of it.
