Early Literacy Activities and Lists for Primary Students. Word
Families and Dolch-Sight Words are commonly used in the early
primary grades. Our TeachMe activity is perfect for these early
learners. It reads each word aloud, spells it letter-by-letter, and
uses it in a context-rich sentence. MissingLetter and UnScramble
are popular with students in the early grades, guiding them to pay
attention to the arrangement of letters used to form words.
Teachers and parents can also incorporate Handwriting practice,
both manuscript and cursive, with spelling instruction.

Word Study for Later Elementary and Secondary Students. As students
move through the later elementary years and into middle and high
school, vocabulary becomes increasingly important. Students benefit

College Usage.
It's been very interesting for me to see a number of post secondary schools
register with us and start adding lists. While some add advanced or
specialized vocabulary, many of them seem to be using us as a way
to reinforce key vocabulary and usage concepts.
